A small world

Last night, Hope and I had a visit at Sutter Rehab. I have taken all my CCI pups to Music Circus shows during the summer. We always sit in the same seats and have been going for years and there is a really nice older couple who always usher where we have our seats. The husband even brought dog biscuits for the dogs. What does Sutter Rehab and Music Circus have in common? Read on...

Turns out one of the patients we visited last night was our usher! Somehow we got to talking about Hope as she said she was so well behaved and she started talking about dogs and mentioned Music Circus and how well behaved the dogs were there that attend the shows. She said she recognized me from somewhere and that's where we made the connection, she remembered us going to the show. At the end of the visit, she said she hoped she would see us this summer! I'll have to make sure we get our tickets for the nights she is going to be there so we can see her, even though I won't have a pup. :-(

This is a picture of Hope (on the right) and her buddies at Music Circus when she was a pup in training...guess we saw "Fiddler on the Roof" in 2006!

These dogs certainly leave an impact on people...who would have thought Hope would get to be a therapy dog for someone we barely even know, but see every year? It's a small world, that's for sure!
